Summer 2015

This summer was highlighted by a plein air painting trip to my first home and love - Yosemite National Park. This is the very spot where I first started painting at age 17, and its wonder and glory has never left my soul. I made numerous color notes from this trip as well - quick oil sketches that capture the light and color that I will infuse into a finished painting in my studio.

Spring 2015

These are the skies I see when I step out my studio door. I call this collection "30 Days of Skies," painted in plein air, capturing the skies from sunrise to sunset.
